Hoy para nuestro noveno aniversario, veremos la historia de Blogger, la plataforma que vio nacer a NabbuBlog (Univisi贸n, 2007; Estrada, 2021). 

Blogger naci贸 en 1999 como una de las primeras herramientas dedicadas exclusivamente a la publicaci贸n de blogs. Fue lanzado por la empresa Pyra Labs, pero en 2003 fue adquirido por Google. Desde entonces, se ha convertido en una plataforma popular para millones de personas que buscan expresarse en la web.

En sus primeros a帽os, Blogger se centr贸 en simplificar el proceso de creaci贸n y publicaci贸n de blogs. Los usuarios no necesitaban escribir c贸digo ni instalar programas complicados. Simplemente pod铆an publicar contenido actualizado a trav茅s de un formulario en el sitio web de Blogger, y los resultados se mostraban de inmediato.

Con la adquisici贸n por parte de Google, Blogger se benefici贸 de los recursos y la infraestructura de la compa帽铆a. Se introdujeron funciones premium que antes eran de pago y se a帽adieron nuevas plantillas de dise帽o. Today, for our ninth anniversary, we will look at the history of Blogger, the platform that saw the birth of NabbuBlog (Univision, 2007; Estrada, 2021).

Blogger was born in 1999 as one of the first tools dedicated exclusively to blog publishing. It was launched by Pyra Labs, but in 2003 it was acquired by Google. Since then, it has become a popular platform for millions of people looking to express themselves on the web.

In its early years, Blogger focused on simplifying the process of creating and publishing blogs. Users did not need to write code or install complicated programs. They could simply post updated content through a form on the Blogger website, and the results were displayed immediately.

With the acquisition by Google, Blogger benefited from the company's resources and infrastructure. Premium features that were previously paid for were introduced, and new design templates were added. Also, Google acquired Picasa, allowing Blogger users to add images to their blogs.

As Blogger continued to grow, new features and improvements were introduced. In 2007, the Beta version of Blogger was launched, which allowed users to publish articles by categories or tags.
